Participants are stepping into a 90-day in | 90-day post support case study designed to change how our country approaches trauma, addiction, and mental health care. Their participation will help validate a replicable model—and pave the way for others to follow.
Therefore, to preserve the integrity of this case study, all selected participants must agree to the following:
30-day onsite residential stay at The Healing
Sanctuary in Las Vegas
60-day aftercare program, including:
- Attending 2x weekly, 2-hour sessions at The Healing Sanctuary
- 90-day post program support. Participants agree to weekly zoom check-ins, group trainings, and Sunday family meals (optional and warmly encouraged).
- Diagnostic testing at program start, 90-days, 6 months

Diagnostic testing at program start, 90-days, 6 months
Adhere to daily practices and diagnostics for 90 days post-program to support accurate 6-month evaluation.
60-day aftercare program, including:
- 10 prepared meals per week (for participant, not their family/partner)
- Personal compliance with Food Healing Fundamentals when eating outside the provided meal plan
Attend final retreat in Tennessee
Agree to document & share their story as part of the national awareness campaign
Selection Process | How Participants Are Chosen
Following the nomination phase, the Advisory Board Selection Committee will convene to begin selecting 20 veterans and first responders from the Las Vegas area who are ready to commit to a 90-day whole-person transformation program.
We’re not looking for the “perfect” candidates. We’re looking for those ready to do the work.
Evaluation Criteria
Service History
- Former military or first responder (police, fire, EMT)
- Not currently on active duty (due to leave constraints)
Current Needs
- Experiencing challenges such as PTSD, addiction, chronic stress, burnout, emotional disconnection, or related health struggles
- Readiness for Change
- Interest in getting off any medications under the supervision of our physician team
- Demonstrates emotional & mental readiness to fully engage in healing & program processes

Service History
- Willingness to participate in all program elements, including documentation & diagnostics schedule: 30 day onsite / 60 day aftercare / 90 post aftercare
- Attendance at the final retreat in Tennessee
Community Impact Potential
- Individuals whose stories may inspire others & contribute to broader change
- Participants who are willing to share their journeys to support the documentary and campaign efforts
